• Read the clues carefully.
• Deduce the position of each painting.
• The painting that is not in its place is the one that was moved.

Clues

1. The portrait is in the top row.
2. The rural scene is in the middle row and near the landscape.
3. The nature painting is immediately south of the portrait and in the same row as the rural scene, with one painting between them.
4. The oriental painting is between the landscape and the portrait.
5. The abstract painting is immediately to the right of the still life.
6. The seascape is near the still life.
7. The rural scene is near the seascape.
8. There is another painting between the landscape and the seascape.
